My Story

“Currently Self-Discovering”

I’ve never liked writing biographies about myself but I guess for this purpose I will.

My name is Bronia Brons, a lot of people call me BRON-YA but it’s actually BRO-KNEE-YA. HAHAHA okay not important but anyways. I’m 22 years old of Dutch/Maori heritage and was born and raised in Rotorua, NZ. I’m a beauty therapist by trade but I’ve always loved writing. I’ve kept a journal since I was 8 and have been writing ever since. Even though I write a lot my grammar really sucks, so sorry if you’re a freak HAHA.

I’ve always wanted to start a blog but never really knew how or had the guts because it ain’t easy sharing your life with the world. You probably have seen that my blog is called BRONSBREED.COM. I’ve always been proud of my family name but as for the word ‘breed’ that came from a very close friend he would always use the term ‘purebree’ when referring to the elite girls he had his eyes on. “Yeah she’s just a ‘pure bred woman” He reckons haha he’d always tell me that there are only a few selected girls out there who carry this title, he calls them ‘PURE BRED WOMAN’ and so I asked him and this is how he explained it; a Pure Bred woman is someone who isn’t embarrassed to embrace womanhood in its entirety. Embrace it while the world looks down at it and sees it as limiting or old fashion, the ‘traditional woman’. It has been with me ever since, I don’t believe theres anything more important.

Also I decided that if I was going to write about real people and real experiences I’d never disclose the names of those who it is I speak of. It isn’t easy for me to share so when I do know theres a reason for it. I try to be as raw and real as I can because theres no point having a blog if you are only just going to everyone the good and hide the bad.
