So here’s a couple of things I’ve realised I need to work on in 2017!
Self Love through Authenticity!
Sounds straight forward, but many of us can be quite good at adapting to ways that we think will make us more likeable or accepted. At the end of the day that’s all anyone wants, is to be accepted, but truth is; your acceptance begins with you, not anybody else. Once you’ve accepted yourself, the acceptance of others no longer matters.
“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent”
Step outside your comfort zone.
This helps you see where you’re at, whether you naturally limit yourself or whether you’re truly not afraid of anything. The goal is not to necessarily get rid of your fears but to be in control of them and not allowing them to rule your life. Ask yourself, “What do I truly want in life?” and then ask yourself, why you haven’t pursued it. Most of us are generally happy people but we limit ourselves, and let me tell you, our potential is as great as we allow it to be.

Self Love through listening to your hearts desires
I don’t even know why some of us struggle with loving ourselves. For example; it’s probably really easy to eat those fries when your body is really craving them, but what about your heart? What does your heart truly want? Does it want to be healthy and strong? Fit and flexible? Or does it just simply want to be happy with the skin its in? I’m a foodie myself so if you’re looking for organic, vegan or vegetarian lifestyle blogs, then this blog isn’t for you, but if you are exploring the whole lot, the healthy and not so healthy, if you are looking to find balance in your life then come with me!
